EXCLUSIVE MUSIC VIDEO PREVIEW of Karobela's vivaciously raw debut single “No Mercy”

“No Mercy” is the incredibly aptly titled debut single from the UK Alt Rock newcomers Karobela who have already built up a considerable reputation for their femininely virile sound which seamlessly blends British and American Rock. And you can check out the brand-new music video right here on Corvid Culture a day ahead of the release.

No Mercy doesn’t just resonate as a ‘new’ take on Alt Rock, instead, it hits you with an unquestionable aural affirmation that this is the future. Our country may be falling apart at the seams, but at least Alt Rock has been left in safe hands with the energetic fourpiece fronted by Lauren Diamond.

With Rob Freeman on guitar, Katie King on bass, and Ben Gower on drums out pours an indulgently scuzzy soundscape, complete with bouncing rhythms and driving robust choruses. Yet despite the high-octane punches pulled by the instrumentals, there’s a sticky-sweet layer of Pop sensibility weaved into the mix thanks to Lauren Diamond’s mesmeric unflinchingly pitch-perfect vocals.

If the UK singles charts were rated on vocal strength alone, No Mercy would undoubtedly, sitting pretty right at the top. That may sound like incredibly high praise until you’ve heard the single for yourselves, then you’ll understand how impossibly hard it was to poignantly reflect the vivacity of No Mercy.

No Mercy leaves you with the compulsion to start versing the lyrics before you’ve learned them; tracks which offer such an intrinsic connection to the energy from the first listen definitely aren’t stumbled across every day.

Here's a cheeky preview of the official music video to Karobela’s debut single No Mercy which is due for official release on June 28th, 2019.
